COURSE DESCRIPTION
Then the Alexander Technique presents an appealing solution. The Alexander Technique addresses the matter in an intriguing way and asks, “What do you not need to do? In practicing the Alexander Technique you pursue another route. What muscle can you let go of? What can you release, right now in this moment?” How people go about doing things is often unconscious. Have you ever stopped to consider how you walk, how you move into a chair or how you use your SELF when you communicate? This workshop is designed to bring to light unconscious muscular holding patterns so that easier and more natural use of muscle can prevail. On this three day course you will learn to find more of your natural support mechanism by letting-go and releasing unnecessary tension. You will learn to build core muscle strength by practising the skills of releasing and directing yourself when at rest and in everyday activities.
The approach is practical and experiential The course aims to give you an enriching practice for your daily life. LOCATION LEADING
